Before fame
He studied at Queen's University and the University of Toronto.
Trivia
Many of his works are inspired by the sound of Studio Ghibli films. He is the founder and director of Music for Kids Canada. He started Seycara Music and Arts Productions in 2009. Outside of music, he worked as a physician.
Family life
His parents had him study piano from a young age. He joked in one interview about growing up in a stereotypically "Asian household".
