Jamaican radio host, DJ, music producer, songwriter, actress, and media personality known professionally as both ZJ Sparks and Sparkiebaby and known for her work on ZIP 103 FM, Bob Marley's Tuff Gong Radio on SiriusXM, and her label Twelve 9 Records.
Before fame
She graduated from Holy Childhood High School and originally spent time working in a law firm before pursuing media. She completed a management degree at the University of the West Indies and began exploring radio, writing, acting, and stage performance. Her radio break came in the early 2000s when Dr. Dennis Howard encouraged her to go on air, and she began working at KLAS before eventually joining RJR 94 FM and ZIP 103 FM.
Trivia
She was nominated for Top Female Producer at the 2017 Hapilos Digital Music Awards for her work through Twelve 9 Records. She was the first female TV host of The Tastee Talent Trail. She received a Spotify plaque from Soulja Boy's team in 2022 for helping promote his song "Rick and Morty" through her DJ sets.
Family life
Her real name is Tricia Spence. She is an only child, and her parents originally encouraged her to become a lawyer.
