Elias: The Little Rescue Boat
About
A little rescue boat encounters many colorful characters while serving his role to save one boat after the other. No humans are featured in the universe of the show and only includes houses, boats, cars and cranes as living individuals. It spawned a 2007 film called Elias and the Royal Yacht and a 2010 one titled Elias and the Treasure of the Sea.
Trivia
The show was adapted from a children's book of the same name that was published in Norway in 1999. It won a 2007 Golden Screen, Norway award and was a 2006 International Emmy Award nominee. The Norwegian Society for Sea Rescue adopted the protagonist Elias as their mascot.
