About
Rockstar San Diego and Rockstar Games present a gritty Western epic set during the decline of the American frontier in the year 1911. The story follows a former outlaw whose wife and son are taken by the government in ransom for his services as a mercenary. The outlaw sets out to bring his former gang members to justice.
Trivia
During the time it was being developed, it became one of the most expensive video games ever made. It won Game of the Year awards from a number of publications and its success led to the development of Red Dead Redemption 2.
