Fictional character acting as the overall main protagonist of the Madagascar franchise. He is an African lion who was captured by poachers and ultimately ends up in the Central Park Zoo where he meets his future running crew.
Trivia
As a main attraction at the Central Park Zoo he received the nickname King of New York. Outside of the film series he has also made appearances on Penguins of Madagascar and All Hail King Julien.
