Rockabilly band who initially performed under names such as the Tomcats, the Teds, and Bryan and the Tom Cats. They began their career in New York and Philadelphia. They are known for tracks like "Rock This Town," "Stray Cat Strut," "(She's) Sexy + 17," and "Runaway Boys."
Trivia
Their self-titled debut album was 1981's Stray Cats. Their other albums include 1986's Rock Therapy, 1989's Blast Off! and 1990's Let's Go Faster! In 2024, they toured the United States over summer.
