Before fame

He aspired to become a "weatherman" even as a child, becoming a member of a weather club drawing maps and forecasting early in life.

Trivia

A self-proclaimed fitness enthusiast, he enjoys running, biking, lifting weights, and has participated in more than half a dozen triathlons.

Family life

He and his husband Karl have a son named Jacob.
