Rose to fame in the summer of 2015 as the winner of the inaugural season of MasterChef Mexico.
Prior to earning his MasterChef title, he worked as a dishwasher. He was forced to quit his studies and never finished high school because his family could not afford it.
In the Fall of 2015, he launched his eponymous food YouTube channel.
Though his father divorced his mother when he was a child, he inherited his love of food from him. He grew up alongside his younger siblings in Guadalajara.
He beat out pastry chef Nallely Martinez on the first season of MasterChef Mexico.
