Alex Karaban

Basketball player who became famous as a member of the University of Connecticut's UConn Huskies. He was famous for hitting a three-pointer at the halftime buzzer. He was named to the 2022 Phil Knight Invitational All-Tournament Team.

He attended Algonquin Regional High School and New Hampton School, in New Hampton, New Hampshire.

He grew up playing on a court that his father built for him, after selling a motorcycle to fund. The court was labeled with his initials in blue.

His parents are named Alexi and Olga. His father is from Belarus and his mother is from Ukraine. He has a younger sister, Ana, and a younger brother, Andrew.
