Croatian painter and graphic designer who received the Vladimir Nazor Award for lifetime achievement in the arts.
He spent his summers during high school drawing caricatures for tourists on the Adriatic beaches from Sušak to Dubrovnik.
He designed numerous posters for the Croatian National Theatre and the Modern Gallery.
He was Jewish and was one of only two members of his family to survive the Holocaust. He married a medical technician in 1962, and they had two children together.
