Korean American social media personality, police lieutenant, professor, and podcast host known for sharing law enforcement education, leadership advice, faith, and family content through his 911Strong TikTok and Instagram accounts which have amassed over 170,000 TikTok followers and over 140,000 Instagram followers.

Before fame

He entered the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Academy in 1999 after being approached by a recruiter during college and graduated in early 2000. He eventually earned degrees in criminal justice management and public relations from California Baptist University. He began posting content on his 911Strong Instagram account which had attracted tens of thousands of followers by 2017 and expanded onto TikTok in 2019.

Trivia

He co-launched The 911Strong Podcast in August 2019. He hosted The Debrief on First Responders Network in 2023. He is also known for co-hosting the podcast The 911Strong Podcast and for having appeared on television as a law enforcement expert.

Family life

He was born on a U.S. Army base in Seoul, South Korea while his father was stationed there and grew up near Los Angeles, California. He was raised as an only child. He has four children with his wife Liz.
