Before Fame

He started his career at a young age and joined the group Concentration Camp, which was led by rapper C-Murder. He eventually signed with Trill Entertainment in 2000, where he began to gain recognition. 

Trivia

In 2009, he was sentenced to 4 years in prison for drug charges and for being involved in a murder conspiracy (he was later acquitted of the latter). He was released from prison in 2014 and continued his music career.

He is a father to eight children, including Torrence Hatch Jr, Imani Hatch, Tyrus Hatch, and more.
