He is the founder of Run PHASE which is a nonprofit organization designed to help veterans recover physically, mentally, and spiritually after military service. He also studied songwriting at Belmont University. He has supported the nonprofit Project K-9 Hero by performing at fundraising events such as the Performers for Paws concert in Nashville.
Family life
He was born in Louisiana and raised in Conway, South Carolina, before eventually relocating to Nashville, Tennessee to pursue his music career. He is a father.
