Country singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and producer known for her solo country-pop career and for becoming the first female member of the Zac Brown Band. She is also known for her songs "The Difference," "Come In (But Don't Make Yourself Comfortable)," "Burning Bush," "Bare Feet," "Chasing Me," "All of the Above," and "Let Go" along with the albums Fallen Flower, Bare Feet, Anthem of Life, and Homesite.

Before Fame

She developed an early interest in music and learned to sing and to play piano, guitar, and harmonica while growing up. She attended Greenwich Academy before enrolling at New York University where she studied economics. She independently released her first EP Tall Grass in 2011 while she was still a university student. She moved to Nashville, Tennessee after graduating from NYU to pursue music full time. She joined the Zach Brown Band in 2022.

She regularly plays multiple instruments live and often switches between guitar, piano, and harmonica during performances. She was named a CMT Next Women of Country artist in 2018. She is a self-taught harmonica player which has become one of her musical trademarks.
