Military veteran, public speaker, philanthropist, and pro MMA champion famous for his bestselling books including his 2023 work Saving Aziz. Before Fame

He earned a master's degree from the New York Institute of Technology. He served 8 deployments to Afghanistan as a force recon marine and DoD contractor as part of a Joint Special Operations Command Task Force. Upon his return, he struggled with PTSD and founded the non-profit organization Mighty Oaks Foundation to provide members of the military with a faith-based approach to battle trauma and build resiliency.

Trivia

He earned a Medal of Valor for exhibiting bravery beyond the call of duty in law enforcement. He's worked as a Special Agent with the US Federal Air Marshal Service and as a Surveillance Detection Senior Program Manager for the US State Department. He's been an advisor to the Donald Trump Administration, to Congress, and to the VA.

He is married to his wife Kathy. Together, they have 1 daughter, 2 sons, and 2 grandchildren.
