MLS forward who established himself with the New England Revolution after spending time playing in France, Denmark, and Sweden. He also earned 17 caps for the US National Team from 2007-2009, scoring four goals.
After starring at Brooks School, he attended Boston College for three years before going pro and signing with Hammarby.
He was a passenger in a serious, single-car accident in 2009 that killed the other passenger in the car with him. The driver of the car was convicted of involuntary manslaughter.
He has a brother named Justin who's also played in the MLS. He married his wife Nina in 2012.
He and Jose Goncalves have been teammates on New England.
