Before Fame
She was diagnosed with Down syndrome at birth and doctors predicted she would have low muscle tone and limited physical development. She began gymnastics when she was 4 years old to build strength and joined Special Olympics competition around age 8 where she quickly discovered a love for performing. Her first U.S. Special Olympics National Gymnastics Championship appearance was in 2012, where she won her first title.
