Famous for hosting or co-hosting the Uruguayan television programs La Magia de Claudia, Jungla Magica, and Bendita TV, she is also notable for her work as a model and actress.
Before launching her careers as a model and television personality, she studied at the Uruguayan Institute of High Fashion.
She competed in the fourth and fifth seasons of the Argentine reality dance competition Bailando por un Sueno.
She was raised in Montevideo, Uruguay, by her grandparents Juan Antonio and Irma Fernandez and her father Fernado Fernandez. She later settled in Buenos Aires, Argentina, where she and her husband, Leonel Delmonico, welcomed a daughter named Mia Elena in 2009 and a son named Renzo in 2013.
She is a contemporary of fellow Uruguayan model and actress Bárbara Mori.
