Before Fame

She studied at Trinity College Dublin for time, but dropped out to Denmark for three months to attend a songwriting camp.

Trivia

Her full name is Ciara Mary-Alice Thompson. She is openly bisexual, and once said in an interview with NME, "I'm making music for the girls and the gays, and that's it". Her album  If My Wife New I'd Be Dead won the Choice Music Prize 2022 Album of the Year award. 

Family Life

Before her music career truly took off she was in a toxic relationship with a boyfriend while living in Manchester England. She returned to Ireland and began self-releasing music after dumping him. She was born in Dublin, and moved with her family to Clonee and Dunboyne in County Meath as a child.
