Before fame
He attended Jenks High School where he helped lead his team to a 27-1 record and a state championship game appearance during his senior year. He joined Oral Roberts University initially as a team manager before earning a walk-on spot with the Golden Eagles and becoming a rotation point guard. He stayed at ORU after his playing career ended as a graduate assistant while completing his MBA and discovered his passion for player development. He became a licensed Pure Sweat Basketball skills coach and worked alongside Drew Hanlen before officially launching Elev8Hoops in April 2019.
Trivia
His training program has worked with thousands of players across youth, high school, college, G League, and professional levels. He is also known for cofounding the Clay Wilson and David Mason Skill Academy.

He was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and has remained closely connected to the Tulsa basketball community throughout his career.
