She is married, with children. Her father, Igor Klishin, was a former high-level athlete himself and heavily influenced her initial introduction to track sports. Her mother is Nadezhda Klishina, who worked to support her ambitions when Daria moved away from home to a Moscow sports boarding school at just 13 years old.
