About

He is a highly accomplished digital illustrator, self-taught visual artist, and digital creator known online under the pseudonym Diberkato. He has gained substantial recognition and over 460,000 followers in the online art community for his bold, edgy illustrations of powerful female characters. His art style is distinctively steeped in heavy 80s and 90s pop-culture nostalgia, retro tech, neon color palettes, and a striking comic book aesthetic.

Before fame

His formal online presence and professional digital illustration archives began picking up widespread industry recognition around 2020. He systematically grew his portfolio over the next few years, culminating in the launch of his highly anticipated crowdfunding campaign in August 2026 to print his definitive career retrospective art book.

Trivia

He has shared that his signature art style was actually born out of a desire to head-on confront the artistic elements he initially struggled with the most, such as complex human anatomy, dynamic motion, and vibrant color blending. His work heavily integrates visual easter eggs paying homage to vintage SEGA consoles, retro VHS tapes, Nintendo gear, and old-school NASA aesthetics.
