American professional basketball player best known for playing as a power forward for the NBA's Chicago Bulls. He was initially drafted in the second round of the 2022 NBA draft by the New Orleans Pelicans. He had previously also played collegiate basketball for the Buckeyes at Ohio State University.
Before Fame
He won the 2018 Illinois Mr. Basketball award while attending Belleville High School - West, where he was also named St. Louis Post Dispatch Player of the Year and won the Illinois 4A class state championship for two years in a row.
Trivia
Prior to committing to Ohio State in 2018, he was named a consensus four-star recruit as well as the best player in the entire state of Illinois. Among his many other career accolades, he was also twice named First-team All-Big Ten in 2021 and 2022.
