About

Swedish politician who came to prominence as the Leader of the Christian Democrats in 2015. Previously, she worked as a political secretary for councilor Gustaf von Essen in the Uppsala Municipality. In 2021, she was sued for defamation after pointing out her opposing lawyer's criminal history.

She studied social sciences at Uppsala University.

Trivia

She won an election to become a Member of the Riksdag in 2018. She was sentenced to probation and a SEK 60,000 fine after pleading guilty in her defamation case. 

Family Life

She was married to soccer player Niklas Busch Thor from 2013 until 2020. Their son Birger was born in 2015 and their daughter Elise was born in 2017.
