American radio host who has had a career for more than 50 years. He was the co-host of The Harden and Weaver Show on WMAL from 1960 until 1998.
He learned to play the trombone as a child and played in local dance bands before later being drafted into the U.S. Army in 1944.
He co-authored the 1983 book On the Radio With Harden and Weaver.
He was married twice and has five children.
One of the many guests on his radio show included singer Jimmy Dean.
