Known for her work in South India's various film industries, including Malayalam, Kannada, and Telegu. She earned her first Fanfare Award for Best Kannada Actress for her work in the 2009 satire film Kallara Santhe.
She grew up participating in various school cultural programs. She completed her secondary school studies at Vidya Mandir, and the subsequent Pre-University Courses.
In 2014, she earned her second Fanfare Award nomination for Best Kannada Actress for her work in the film Ugramm.
Her grandfather was a known Indian theatre personality, which inspired her to pursue acting.
She appeared in actress Bhumika Chawla's first-ever produced film, the 2010 Telegu drama Thakita Thakita.
