Before fame

His debut album Lava Ground was released by VP Records in August 2005.

Trivia

He received four nominations at the 25th International Reggae and World Music Awards in 2006. He began performing through sound systems and gained attention after a string of singles led to his major 2004 breakout with "Can't Satisfy Her."

Family life

He was born Cliffroy Taylor. He was raised by his aunt and her husband Ansell Collins who played the keyboard.
