English musician who found fame as the guitarist and primary songwriter for the electronic rock band EMF, best known for their 1991 hit "Unbelievable." He has since become a respected songwriter, earning both a Golden Globe and Grammy nomination for his work on Beyonce Knowles' "Once In a Lifetime."
