Veteran key defender that earned his first professional club contract with the Hawthorn Football Club in the year 2014 at just 19 years of age. A few years later, he was selected to play for the Victoria Australian Rules Football team in the year 2020. He is an Adidas-sponsored athlete. 

Before Fame

He previously played junior football with the Keilor Football Club. He was later drafted by Hawthorn with the 56th overall pick in the 2013 AFL national draft.

Trivia

While playing with Hawthorn in the year 2022, he was given the Peter Crimmins Medal for being his team's best player. The following season, he was named Team Captain, as well as a member of the All-Australian team. He stands six feet two inches tall and weighs just under 200 pounds.
