English journalist and news anchor who built his reporting career in war zones. He became an international correspondent for ABC News, leading to appearances on shows such as Good Morning America, World News Tonight, and Nightline. 

Before Fame

He earned a bachelor's degree in Arabic from the School of Oriental and African Studies, and a masters in Comparative Politics from the London School of Economics.

Trivia

In 2021, he was awarded a News Emmy for his work on the climate crisis in India. He has travelled to more than 50 countries to break news stories. In 2025, he published a book titled The Inherited Mind. 

Family Life

He is an advocate for mental health after losing his father to schizophrenia at a young age. He married Alex Brannan in 2022.
