Jen Muñoz

About

Former professional soccer player, brand ambassador, model, and social media personality best known for playing as a midfielder for Club América within Liga MX Femenil between 2019 and 2021. She also represented Mexico on a national level, making her senior debut in 2020 in a match against Slovakia where she also scored her first international goal. She has built a popular fanbase on social media, boasting more than 230,000 followers on her jenmunoz8 TikTok account and acquiring partnerships with market-leading brands such as Adidas, Subway, Degree, and Gatorade.

Before Fame

She attended Capistrano Valley High School, where she was lettered four years in soccer and three in track & field. During her sophomore year, she was named Junior League Most Valuable Player. She went on to attend the University of New Mexico, where she played soccer for the Lobos beginning in 2015.

Trivia

She is also a dedicated philanthropist and has partnered with non-profit organizations such as the YMCA and Boys & Girls Club to host the annual Jen Muñoz Youth Soccer Camp, which she launched in 2023. In February 2025, she achieved one of her personal goals by being featured on a billboard in New York City's legendary Times Square. 

Family Life

In September 2024, she and her mother Claudia co-starred together in a video sponsored by Ford where they played a Q&A-style game called "Which Soccer Mom Are You?" Several of her family members work as firefighters, including her father Guad. In June 2025, she partnered with Red Bull on a video where she surprised him and his fire crew with gifts as a gesture of gratitude for their service. She has one brother named Gianni.

In July 2025, she partnered with Coca-Cola to perform the coin toss at a match between SE Palmeiras and Chelsea FC at Lincoln Financial Field, where she was photographed alongside fellow soccer star Enzo Fernández.
