Best known online as Your Female Engineer, she is a space engineer at NASA. Through her online content, she advocates for girls and minorities to enter the STEM and space engineering fields. Her engineer fame has earned her over 100,000 Instagram followers, where she educates her audience and posts life updates. 

Before Fame

As a child, she moved from Puerto Rico to Orlando, Florida. In high school, she was a member of the Science Management team. She began to study medicine while at Towson University, but eventually made the change to engineering. 

Trivia

She was diagnosed with ADHD and has spoken about the difficulties of working in STEM with it. She attended the Naval Postgraduate School to further her studies after college.

Family Life

Her parents did not attend college. They encouraged her interest in science and bought her a telescope when she was little to look at the stars.
