South Korean actor who is known for his leading roles on several films and television series. He is best recognized for his role in the 2012 comedy series A Gentleman's Dignity as well as the 2016 series Descendants of the Sun. 

Before Fame

He made his acting debut in 1998 when he starred in the feature film Shiri. His television debut came shortly after in 2003 when he starred on the MBC series Span Drama. 

Trivia

He is known for having won the SBS Drama Award in 2012 for Best Actor in a Weekend / Daily Drama series for his work on A Gentleman's Dignity. 

Family Life

He is known for having married Choi Eun-ae and together they have two children.
