American freestyle skier who won a Gold medal in the slopestyle competition at the 2014 Winter Olympics in Sochi, Russia.
He started skiing in the Park City mountains when he was three years old and took up freestyle when he was twelve.
He dedicated his first Olympic appearance and win to his father who passed away in August 2013 and kept a photo of him in his pants pocket while competing.
He grew up with his father, James and mother, Debbie around Salt Lake City, Utah.
Like him, Tanner Hall has also competed as a freestyle skier for the United States.
