Professional basketball player most widely regarded for playing as a center and power forward for the National Basketball Association team the Charlotte Hornets. He had been chosen with the 19th pick in the 2021 NBA draft by the New York Knicks, but was traded immediately thereafter to play for the Hornets. He also played for the Bahamian junior national team in the 2019 Under-17 Championship, which was held in the Dominican Republic.

Before Fame

He enrolled in Orlando Christian Prep as a high school senior, where he was teammates with figures like Nassir Little. He helped the school win the Florida High School Athletic Association Class 3A State Championship. He went on to graduate summa cum laude with a 4.2 GPA. He later played collegiate basketball for the University of Texas at Austin before declaring for the 2021 NBA draft.

Trivia

During his college career, he was named Big 12 Sixth Man of the Year. He was also named to the All-Big 12 honorable mention. He was referred to by his coach Shaka Smart as having the best work ethic of any other athlete on the team. He stands 6'10" tall.
