Kato Haru

About

Japanese pop singer also known by the stage name Haru and known for being the maknae (youngest member) of the K-pop boy group XLOV under 257 Entertainment. He is also known for his appearance on the survival show Boys Planet before officially debuting with XLOV in January 2025 with the single album I'mma Be and its title song "I'mma Be." 

Before fame

He first became publicly known after appearing as a contestant on Mnet's survival show Boys Planet in 2023, where he was eliminated in Episode 5 and placed 66th overall. He continued developing his skills and remained active in performance-related activities in Japan. He was a member of a K-pop dance cover group called KIS-KPOP, which he officially left in February 2024. He was announced as being the fourth and final member of XLOV after it was officially revealed in December 2024. He and XLOV debuted in January 2025. 

Trivia

He is fluent in Japanese and Korean. He is known for vocal mimicry and has listed imitating the switch vocal cords as a special skill of his. He is a fan of BIGBANG, and "All About You" by Taeyeon is one of his favorite songs.

He was born and raised in Hyogo, Japan.
