About

Nigerian pop singer/songwriter who rose to fame after appearing as a contestant on the talent show competition America's Got Talent. On the program, she received a standing ovation for her performance of Ed Sheeran's "Thinking Out Loud." 

Before Fame

She obtained a degree in economics from the University of Thomas in Houston, TX. 

Trivia

She was one of two survivors to walk away from the 2005 Sosoliso Airlines Flight 1145 plane crash.
