Professional football player who was known for playing for Dr. Henry A. Wise Jr. High School, Fort Scott Community College, East Mississippi Community College, University of Alabama, University of Oregon, and for the Minnesota Vikings. He was especially known for his 2023 college football season with the Oregon Ducks and for being drafted by the Minnesota Vikings just months before he tragically passed away. 

Before fame

He attended Dr. Henry A. Wise Jr. High School and while he was in high school, he played both wide receiver and defensive back and helped lead Wise to a Maryland state football championship. He graduated in 2017 and initially enrolled at Arizona Western College but returned home before playing any games. He stepped away from football and worked several regular jobs for a period of time before his football career restarted in 2019 when Fort Scott Community College in Kansas recruited him. He then transferred to East Mississippi Community College, but when the 2020 season was canceled because of the COVID-19 pandemic, he began receiving attention from major programs and committed to the University of Alabama in August 2020. He joined Alabama in 2021 and transferred to the University of Oregon after the 2022 season. His 2023 season at Oregon became the breakout year of his career and established him as an NFL prospect.

Trivia

He earned First Team All-Pac-12 honors in 2023. He once seriously considered trying to build a career in competitive NBA 2K esports before returning to football during his junior college years.

Family life

He was born and raised in the Washington, D.C.-Maryland area. He was the son of Raymond Jackson and Ebbony Jackson. His life ended tragically on July 6th, 2024, when he died in a car accident in Maryland alongside two of his former high school teammates.

He later played for Dan Lanning for the Oregon Ducks during the 2023 season where he had his breakout year and earned All-Pac-12 honors. He was also teammates with Oregon quarterback Bo Nix.
