Before Fame
He played football at William Jewell College from 2004 to 2007. Following his college career, he spent three seasons working at Park Hill South High School as the special teams coordinator, defensive backs coach, and wide receivers coach.
Trivia
Before joining the University of Oregon, he served as the defensive coordinator and outside linebackers coach at the University of Georgia. In his final year there, Georgia completed an undefeated regular season and went on to win the 2022 College Football Playoff National Championship.
