She earned a bachelor's degree in Interior design at Ryerson University. She attended Toronto Fashion Academy.

She launched her own interior design company called Kyle & Co. Design Studio. She and McDavid have traveled around Europe including the United Kingdom, France and the Netherlands. In 2019, they attended the NHL Awards in Las Vegas.

Her parents are named Paul and Sharon Kyle. She has brothers named David and Ward Kyle. She began dating Connor in 2016. They have a bernedoodle named Lenard who has his own Instagram.
