Represented by L.A. Models and Major Model Management New York, she was photographed for the covers of the fashion magazines Cleo, Elle, and Vogue. In addition, she participated in fashion shows for Martin Bouwer, Joseph Israel, and other prominent designers.
Early in her career, she was a cover model for the Italian fashion magazines Anna, Amica, and Grazia.
In early 2007, she was assaulted by a doorman named Samir Dervisevic; he broke a glass bottle in her face, and she had to have nearly fifty stitches. Two years later, she was involved in another dramatic incident: after a user of a blog service operating under Google posted extremely critical remarks about her, she filed a defamation lawsuit.
Born and raised in Ontario, Canada, she relocated to Paris, France in her late teens.
She appeared in designer Giorgio Armani's 1994 and 1996 Spring and Summer Ready to Wear fashion shows.
