Loren Healy

About

Off-road racer known for being a two-time King of the Hammers champion and multiple-time Ultra4 National Champion which has earned him the reputation as one of the winningest drivers in Ultra4 history. He is also known for racing in RTR Vehicles Off-Road.

Before fame

He bought his first 4×4 while still in school and spent weekends rock crawling with friends in areas like Choke Cherry Canyon. He worked in the oil and gas industry in operations management while building cars and racing on the side before he pursued racing fulltime. He first entered Ultra4 racing in 2009, and after breaking his first car he decided to fully commit to building a serious race machine. He returned in 2010 to win King of the Hammers at only his second attempt.

Trivia

He won King of the Hammers in 2010 and 2014. He has also earned multiple Ultra4 National Championships including a near-undefeated Ultra4 season in 2014. He has raced famous purpose built Ultra4 cars nicknamed "Red Dragon" along with Ford Bronco-based race trucks through RTR Performance.

Family life

He grew up in Farmington, New Mexico. He has three children with Savannah Healy.
