Before Fame
He began skiing at a young age in the mountainous region of Carinthia. He joined the Kärntner Schülerkader at age 10 and quickly progressed through the ranks. He won three gold medals in the boys' combined, giant slalom, and parallel mixed team events at the 2012 Winter Youth Olympics. He made his European Cup debut in January 2013 and his World Cup debut in November 2014. His breakthrough came in December 2015 when he secured his first World Cup podium with a third-place finish in slalom.
