French-Canadian pop singer who goes by the mononym Marilou. She's known for the albums Marilou, La Fille qui Chante, and Au Milieu de mon écart.
She started performing locally in Quebec by the time she was 10 and performed with Natasha St-Pier in 2001. She released her first sing in 2002.
She appeared in the 2011 movie Funkytown and was the voice Princess Merida in the Canadian French dub of Brave.
She grew up in the Montreal suburb of Longueuil and sings in French.
