Before Fame
As a professional photographer, his journey began in the mid-2010s; however, his fascination with ospreys and other raptors was sparked early in his childhood. He started his YouTube channel in February 2017, with a video titled "Nikon D500 South Florida Birding Extravaganza" which showed Sandhill Cranes, White Pelicans, Osprey, Otters, and other local wildlife native to the southern US.
Trivia
In June of 2020, he served as a guest teacher for the Awesome Osprey Classroom broadcast held by the world-famous Dunrovin Ranch in Lolo, MT. Some of his merchandise was also offered as prizes to the top entrants in its affiliated Awesome Osprey Research Project. He has authored several books on birding and photography, including Bird Photography, Florida Birding, and Osprey: The Glorious Pursuit of Unbridled Determination.
Family Life
His wife has made appearances in many of his videos on YouTube, including his debut upload in February of 2017. In March, later that same year, he and his wife celebrated their 22nd wedding anniversary together in the video, "Birds, Birds, and More Birds."
