She was named ICNA-MAS Qur'an Champion and Helping Hand (HHRD) Qur'an Champion multiple times, and was also the 2014 GuideUS TV Qur'an Champion.

Her first achievement was becoming the 2013 Helping Hand (HHRD) Qur'an Champion.

Trivia

She has been an ambassador for Islamic Relief USA. Her YouTube channel went viral with videos called "A cute video on how Maryam is inspiring her baby sister Fatima" and "Better quality video: Maryam is reviewing few Surah with her baby sister Fatima [2 yrs]." She has also raised money for a charity trip to Turkey to help refugees from Syria. 

Family Life

She has two sisters named Mayeesha and Fatima. Her father Masudur Rahman is a software architect who directs her on social media platforms and her mother Shakila Imroz is her main teacher. She is a descendant of the prominent Bangladeshi writer Romena Afaz.
