Iranian-Australian actor known for his work in Here Come the Habibs, The Code, Secret City, How to Stay Married, and At Home With Julia.
Before Fame
He developed a passion for acting in school which inspired him to pursue formal acting training in college. He graduated from the National Institute of Dramatic Art with a degree in Performing Arts in Acting in 1995. His first onscreen role was in Police Rescue in 1996. He acted in numerous shows and movies, but his big break was in 2015 when he was cast in Here Come the Habibs.
Trivia
He is also a stage actor and has contributed to several stage productions. His central role in Here Come the Habibs was important in bringing Middle Eastern representation to mainstream Australian television.
Family Life
He was born in Tehran, Iran. He and his family moved to Australia when he was a young child. He is of Assyrian descent.
