Before fame

He had no formal art background and once believed drawing was a talent people were born with. He began teaching himself to draw in mid-2022 and practiced every day while documenting his progress online. He studied for a master's degree in marketing at Nottingham Business School from 2023 to 2024.

Trivia

He first shared ten free portrait-practice pages with his Instagram community in June 2023. He published his 119-page first ebook Drawing Portraits in January 2024. He founded The Leveling Agency Ltd in July 2024 and The Leveling Artist Ltd in September 2025.

Family life

His full name is Mohammed-Saad El Boukhari. He is Moroccan and previously worked in Kenitra, Morocco before moving to Nottingham, England.
