Before Fame
He spent his early childhood at ABC Children's Home in Mathare which was the same orphanage where his adoptive father Bahati Kenya was raised. He first met Bahati Kenya when he was around two years old, and he cried to go home with him after a concert visit which inspired Bahati Kenya to foster and eventually adopt him despite still struggling financially. He transitioned into a stable family environment and enrolled in school before becoming involved in Kenyan reality TV. He first appeared on Being Bahati in 2018.

He once went viral for carrying his mother Diana Marua on his back down a steep and muddy path during a family trip. He has said he hopes to become a lawyer and eventually a politician with a goal of helping youth and creating opportunities for others.
