He was a two-sport athlete while at Chalmette High School. In addition to football, he also played basketball at the time. 

Trivia

While at Louisiana-Lafayette, he earned All-Sun Belt honors once. He made his official NFL debut while playing against the Philadelphia Eagles during week one of the 2025 regular season. That very same day, he also made his first NFL start.
